SE Idaho in my opinion is on the verge of huge growth. Idaho Falls has passed the magical 50,000 population mark, but has draw of 100,000 of people in the surrounding area.
Everyone goes to Idaho Falls to do their shopping.
They drive from Montana and Wyoming as well as all the surrounding cities here in Idaho.
Idaho Falls has quite a few restaurants, but could use a few more.
It seems like they are always packed on the weekends.
The other thing that gives Idaho Falls lots of money is the site. There are quite a few high paying jobs at the nuclear site.
Idaho Falls has quite a few advanced degrees offered right at the University place.
So, if you are thinking about buying a business in SE Idaho, I think this community is set to boom.
